A drawing for The Edmonton Journal. Letter to the Editor about the root of Mother's Day.Started after the First world war to honour the mothers of slain soldiers.This was drawn during the Bosnian crisis. 8x10 pen&ink/grayscale pencil crayons.Reprint rights avail. ©McDonall Graphics 1997

Oh Glen this is heartbreaking...this also remind me of the people of Irag and those m#@& graves...This is a very emotional piece..amazing the emotion expressed in this absolutely breaks your heart...and makes you think..
