Plein aire painting not too far from our home in Hereford. Last spring the white poppies were out in force. This is a small oil painting, approximately 7x10

Artist Reply: Is this you, Chloe? Thanks for the nice comment. Actually, this is a plein aire oil painting I did about a year ago. I did it on a small scrap of canvas which I later affixed to a piece of masonite board. I prefer this style and often use a palette knife as well as a brush for achieving the look I want.
