the kiss

acrylic on canvas copyright 2004 fred odle I'm a visual artist with a background in graphic design fineart, finecraft and signage. this is my latest style of painting, using croping techniques when composing and painting to get thatunusual look to the face which are all frabicated, no skethes were done on these except 'redhead' just me, the paint, the canvas and some reference material, so I have no clue as to how each piece will look at the end everything is all spontaeneous.

Nice technique on the hair. The face is finely detailed. Even though the eye (the window on the soul) is not open, you get a feel for this person. The curly shadows add a touch of mystery.
