This is seriously a rich piece of portraiture work. For whatever reason, charcoal seems to bring out something that oilpainting doesn't quite capture(at least for me). The black and white for this portrait gives a strong spiritual element to her.

Artist Reply: Thanks for the reply. I also find some strange spirituality eminating from my drawings, and I can't explain why.
