This is an 8x10 oil painting I just finished. I have a great mentor, Jean Chambers, who has been beating me over the head about edges and values. This is just one more exercise I tried in order to achieve good work. Actually, I love the African violets, and generally, I paint what I love. Yes, I love the little cream pitcher, too...and, yeah, the orange (it was delicious). :>)
