This is a Watercolor painting in a series that I’m doing on regular sketch paper. The style is called imaginative realism. The biggest challenge originally to these paintings was trying to figure out how to flatten them by myself. Now that I’ve got that down I Can concentrate on the subject matter. In this scene a woman is wearing Levi’s and red leather jacket in a mysterious forest. I took the idea from my first prom where my sister and mom dressed me. I had a knee high skirt instead of a full length and a red leather jacket. I was embarrassed but as it turned out I was a huge hit! Total surprise!!l
