This is a rendered pallet knife painting of female, hen mother duck in the late evening on a pond in New Orleans, La. Her little duckling are just behind her. She is teaching them to swim, feed and survive on their own. Shortly after this picture was taken a alligator moved in the neighborhood and all of the ducks move to another neighbor hood with better table manors.
