parthenon

This is a cubist sunset done in prismacolors. While I was working on it a friend noticed a small grove of "trees" on the horizon that reminded her of the parthenon. The idea caught on and the title stuck. To get the deep effect of color, I used as many as 8 layers of pencil. It was a slow process, but the results were quite satisfying.

I like the way you highlighted the top row with the lighter color to make it stand out and give it more feeling to it. Nicely detailed.
