Mosaic portrait in honor of Elizabeth Taylor. 19"x13" oval. Hand sketched then inlaid with Devonian age marble and semiprecious gemstones of Garnet, Chalcopyrite and Malachite. This legendary actress in her prime was considered the Most Beautiful Woman in the World.

Brilliant uniquely created portrait artwork Scott. You reproduced Elizabeth Taylor's legendary violet eyes PERFECTLY!

Artist Reply: Thank you Vernonette, I really appreciate your comment. I used gemstones of Aquamarine for her eyes and above the eyes I used blue marble which really made the color as close as possible to her real eyes. This was a very fun portrait to create.

You would not believe how long it took to inlay that Chalcopyrite for her hair, It is a precious metals ore with 40% gold, copper and silver in it, very rare. You should grow your long black hair back, just water it, put it in the sun and it will be back shortly....
