I think young Edward is wearing an Hawaiian shirt. They used to be very popular, though I never wore one. I usually only wanted to stand out verbally. Uh, maybe not 'wanted' exactly, Dave. I like it. He is very square jawed and has a look of determination. I haven't tried a purely charcoal piece in decades but you make it look easy and good. Okay, enough butter on the bread. Hope all is good up there. :) PS: Yes, I noticed the smeared symbols/images in the background too.
Artist Reply: Thanks Charles , something very comforting about the charcoal ... surprise effects as well and very forgiving ... a nice break to open up a bit : ) We had some snow but now we have some bitter cold temps ... especially with the wind. Looking forward to the sun staying out longer ... hope all is well out your way : )
