Fantasy shoe design draws its inspiration from the elusive Yeti creature, also known as the Abominable Snowman, who is Nepal and Tibet's version of Big Foot. According to Himalayan legend, this large and hairy ape/humanoid creature is often depicted with grey or white fur which helps it blend into its snowy environment.
