This mosaic was created using nearly 7,000 recycled computer keys, individually dyed to bring out bold color and dimension. It’s a commissioned piece headed to a collector North of the border, Quebec, Canada. This work is inspired by the legendary artist Mel Bochner (1940–2025), whose vibrant use of language and typographic composition has long challenged the boundaries between word and image. While I don’t seek to imitate his work, I do aim to honor his influence and legacy by exploring text in my own medium. "Language is not transparent, we write not only to be understood, but also to be misunderstood” -Mel Bochner
