I attended ballet classes for years.I was in class 4-5 days a week. Alas, Ballet was not my true talent. But I was pleased to find a pair of my old toe shoes and use them in this painting. BEAUTIFULLY DONE K. I TOOK TAP AT A VERY YOUNG AGE. WE DIDN'T HAVE THE KIND OF TEACHING IN DANCE LIKE NOW. BUT I ENJOYED IT AT THE TIME. I LOVE WATCHING " LORD OF THE DANCE" IRISH.
