92cm x 51cm - I have painted these bottles merging into each other as a play on reality once the party is over, with the wine glass almost empty - Still half full? The artwork itself is meant to float over the border of the the composition. Hence the shadow I painted beneath the border, to emphasize this point of the end of a party and, reluctantly, back to the real world. A party is alive with joy and unselfconsciousness. Where laughter flows freely. And time dissolves in the warmth of shared moments. In this space, the openness of communication thrives. Words spill without hesitation, weaving connections that feel effortless and true. Yet, as the night wanes, a quiet ache lingers. The unwillingness of a party ending. The unspoken wish to hold onto what is already slipping away. And when silence settles, only echoes remain. The empty remnants of a joy gone by, scattered like confetti. A reminder that even the most vibrant moments must fade….
