This painting is part of a series of angels that I am currently working on. The heavens have fallen silent for the span half an hour just after the 144,000 saints are sealed and the 7th seal is opened. It is from the book of revelation chapter 8. A mystical rock formation made of crystals rises into a cosmic sky, surrounded by celestial colors. An arched gateway leads towards this ethereal structure.
