Wildlife is a constant inspiration for my artwork. I was interested in this bird's colorful beak and what a bold design element it makes, almost like an abstract slash of color in dense foilage. It was created for an inviation. This image is copyright 2001 Regan Johnson.

You know what your work reminds me of? That childrens book that came out in the 80s... it was called Animalia.... the illustrations are beautiful, just like yours... i cant remember who wrote it though. Anyway... this one is just great! 10+!Dawn Sharpe 25 Mar 2005
