Flurries in The Canyon

This is a painting of a storm moving in over the Black Canyon at sunset.The canyon is located just outside of Gunnison Colorado, heart of the Rocky Mountains. The cliffs are steep and the river runs very cold and deep. It is a very popular tourist destination with incredible views. A stunning scene of a deep canyon with sheer, towering rock formations. A small stream winds through the base, framed by lush greenery.
