North Clear Creek Falls

This scene is of a beautiful waterfall in southwest Colorado. The waterfall is located in the Rio Grande national forest, a favorite destination for many of the visitors to this state. In this picture the afternoon is winding down as the colors of the sky begin to change. A cascading waterfall flows into a deep canyon surrounded by arid desert terrain. The muted hues create a dreamlike, atmospheric scene.
