Mount Crested Butte

This is a painting of Mount Crested Butte in Colorado. It is about a half hour from where I live and is a very popular destination for visitors to our state. The mountain stands tall with a spring storm forming over the peak. A vibrant and colorful mountain rises sharply against a moody, storm-filled sky. The landscape blends rich blues, greens, and browns in a captivating composition.
