A couple of years ago, there was a fire in the apartment right above us (they said it had been caused by a short-circuited television) and our apartment was also totally flooded by the brave fire-fighters that arrived almost an hour late. This a bit postworked image is just a reminder of the whole bunch of adventures and repairs we had afterwards.

The lighting reminds me of a Rembrandt, Nikolay. You created a very engaging piece from such personal devastation. Hope all is good or better. :)

Artist Reply: I only have two wonderful lighting spots in my apartment, Charles. Here's one of them in my room where the window looks out on the south-east. The other is the kitchen window facing the north-west. Things are rolling smooth for now. Hope yours too.
