In my early forties, I met an artist at an international exhibition who asked me how old I was.
I answered with a smile and asked and how old you are...
She answered that at my age you don't reveal; after fifty you don't reveal your age.
I thought to myself, at any age I will discover my true age.
The years take their toll, with the various changes, and yet pictures remain; if we bothered to take pictures and remember ourselves, how we used to be.
As an international artist and endlessly creative person, who has always loved to take pictures and be photographed.. I admit that with age it is less comfortable to be photographed for various reasons.
And yet, photographs are very important to me.
I do not live in the past, but I really like to remember wonderful moments of life, also through photos, and as part of my work I also deal with photos of my past.
From some of you artists on this site, I learned to work on my portraits.
For the purpose of preparing this portrait, last week, I chose a serious photo from my early forties
combined with design. The original photo I took myself as a selfie.
Although in this portrait I look serious, the serious side of me that has always existed, I was always smiling.
Thank you for being part of my life.
Have a delightful day!
