This statue captures the essence of the 'Emotional Faerie,' originally conceptualized in a 2005 drawing. She is envisioned here as a high-quality, cold-cast porcelain figurine, standing with a quiet, thoughtful poise, her hands gently clasped over her heart—a perfect representation of her deep, reflective nature. Her design merges earthy, bohemian elements with ethereal faerie aesthetics. She has a rich, dusky-purple bob and intricate, veined faerie wings that suggest both delicacy and strength. Her attire, a textured, mandala-patterned wrap skirt in deep magenta and plum, paired with a rustic, fringed top, grounds her in a natural world. At her bare feet (she would have 4 toes instead of 5 on each foot) lies an aged, antique-parchment world map, detailed with classic cartography and a compass rose, signifying her introspective journey and emotional exploration across the globe. What is nice about using digital tools is that I got to create what I imagined her bottom half would look like, as she never had one, lol!
