16" x 18" chalk pastel, coloured watercolour pencils, watercolour mixed! Done 2001 as a commission. Only two of the horses in this painting were still alive when I was commissioned this. The others were done by imagining what they looked like from old photographs and descriptions of them, by the owners. It was a challenge, but a total nightmare!

Very cute piece. Reminds me of my days back when we lived on a ranch and had our 6 horses. They all knew when we had treats in our pockets and would come running over to the gate. Very well done
