I like to think of Eddie Brock AKA Venom's symbiote as a free flowing glue-like liquid. Dense on all part of his body but thin and soft on the part of his head. The alien also enhances Eddie's already buffed physique, thus the exaggerated shoulder and abnormal muscles.
