Zoe, A Maine Coon Cat

This is a colored pencil rendering of Zoe who belongs to a lovely Canadian friend of mine. I haven't finished the entire body or the background, but I wanted to show Zoe's face here because she has so much dignity.

What a magnificent portrait of Zoe. I am privileged to know Zoe's owner, Timi, and the artist, Anne......my connection to both great ladies is through breast cancer.

Maine Coons are wonderful, aren't they? :) I have my own colored pencil Maine Coon in my portfolio. They make a great subject. I like your use of color - mixing in blues/greens/yellows into the fur gives a feeling of richness and depth. Well done. Would love to see a background on this picture. :)
