...and very interesting food for thought this wonderful painting is too John. I love how the Breath of Life trails of in to the beautiful light in the distance as if to give birth to new life further on and the other trail leading perhaps to the not so good life. The breath is exceptionally well painted. Superb work. Mary
superbly done, John!

I wonder when people say they r getting too serious what that means! I am a serious person, but then I am for the comedy too. I guess, I just wonder Y we shouldn't question seriously the truth of life right down to the quirks n quarks. I do! that is Y I think this is wonderful. This gives a whole new perspective n speculation which I never thought of or thought anyone would think of. I like the way the flow of life comes from the light source in n out of the wooden man n then returns to the earth to give it life also. Everything connected as it is. His face a mere mask tied on to his head with a single black string. Is he breathing in or out to nature, is he giving it his life or vice-a-versa or both. I like this new n original thought! Should be a Famous one! U have painted it well, the figure reclining in the flow peering upward pulled down to the pool of life. Now I say no more. This is the Artists' typical drawing figure which I find a very clever susbstitute for all the other Adams I have seen over time. I tend to ramble. Great work John! I admire this. Love 2 U ever Christine
This is a really great painting...i like the impressionist feel and the way you created adam. I keep thinking of the story of Pinochio who wanted to be a real boy. I wonder if that story also has religious connotations.
It really makes one think...the mask of awareness or the very first "human shape"..? I wonder if the same matter created such a perfect nature AND "the first adam"...But I`m getting to serious ..:)I love your thoughts on the subject...
