Flying high was inspired by a photograph taken by another artist. I had to paint this bird and sent him the rough sketch of it. Sometimes a photograph will inspire you to draw or paint an image which captures your heart and this one did for me. I hope I did justice to this artist and his beautiful photography. This a 11x14 canvas done in acrylic. Below is the painting framed.
