The REAL Las Vegas CSI

I am a police officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept. While in the Marine Res. during Desert Storm, I sustained a serious spinal injury. After 5 fusions and metal plates, I was placed on permanent light duty. It was after my injury that I began drawing and painting. The police department saw my interest and talent in art and retrained me in graphics. I am responsible for the entire layout and design of our police, training magazine, "The Training Wheel". It is a 64 page, full color, glossy magazine which is now going to many police agencies in the US, Canada, England, Germany, and a law college in Australia. This is the cover design for our (July 2003 issue). The main article talks about the differences between the "Reel" CSI (t.v. show) and the "Real" CSI (actual day to day life of the CSI with the Las Vegas Metropolitan police Department.) Completely rendered in Adobe Photoshop 7.0, using approx. 25 layers. Photos of actors, used with permission.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much. Life deals us cards, sometimes not so favorable but, we all have in us the inate ability to believe, then achieve. As the Journey song goes..."Don't stop believing"...in yourself, because your not alone. A door may close but others open.
