THE POWER WITHIN

You may have seen this image online since it's amazingly popular and yes this is THE ORIGINAL.

This muscularly powerful man has taken care of perfecting himself physically.

Now comes the time for spiritual development. He is now focussing on his directions in life.

The Asking comes from opening up to God's Will after Meditation and Prayer and knowing that you need higher guidance.

His Answer from God comes in the form of the ray of Light of Illumination that changes into the Lightning of Personal Power as it flows thru him touching all of his chakras.

Chakras are spiritual points of energy that we all have that when charged create powerful actualized aspects of our personality.

Depending on how your energy is flowing it can affect your personality in many ways. They start in the base of the spine and are at major points ending at the top of the head. The top chakra when lit up creates the halo which is shown traditionally in all images of illuminated people and can be seen on many of those people who are gifted by the touch of God.

The energy flows from Heaven thru the top of his head out thru his forehead and into his fingertips.

To make any worthy achievement you need to be use your mind for the concepts and planning.

Your heart is necessary for the desire and determination to complete the task. And fingertips are included because we need all of them to do worthy deeds in life. The lightning symbolizes a dynamic relationship of cooperation between them all.

Halos were often used in spiritual paintings from old masters like Leonardo Da Vinci, Michaelangelo, etc to illustrate the presence of a divine, enlightened, or spiritually attuned being.

(Personal note: I was hit by lightning twice during storms in my late teens so this one has a special place in my heart).

Rodney the image that is posted here is breath taking to say the least. I have seen a lot of art over the past few years but never have I seen any portrait that captures the powerful image of a black man that makes me just sit and stare. As I stated to you the gift you have inside is brought forth in your art. Keep on allowing your hand to be used as an instrument to bring out the beauty do that others can see thru your eyes.
