The Massey-Harris Company was formed in 1891 with the merger of two Canadian firms, Massey Manufacturing Company and A. Harris Son & Company Ltd. In 1953, Massey Ferguson was created by another merger, this time with Harry Ferguson. The little Pony was produced from 1947 to 1954, its 62cid engine had enough power to pull one 14 inch plow. Some Ponies were painted gray after the Ferguson merger and some were built in France as well as Canada.
