*newest update* I changed the title of my artwok-if anyone gets this in their Artwatch a second time i apologize :) One of my most challenging portraits to date males in my opinion are always harder to draw than females, but i had fun drawing this portrait. I want to thank my very good and talented photographer friend Jack who allowed me to draw this fellow ;) Pencils on 9x12 bristol board.

I really like the weathered look of his face,the headband,the beard is uniquely your style,of course the shading is marvelous but that is a given on your work...I just did an image slide show on your work and it was quite inspiring.

Really, I'm surprised to hear you say that. You've done a really great job with this portrait. The thing I love about portraiture is the personality I discover about the person I'm drawing. The way he/ she holds his mouth, or squints his/her eyes. Maybe you feel less comfortable scrutinizing a male? In any case, this one is drawn perfectly.
