As I walked across the base to my office early on Sept 30, I noticed a low flying helicopter coming along the horizon. As I rushed to get my camera out of my DCU pocket, the helicopter started releasing decoy flares to draw heat-seaking-missles away from the aircraft. Even though I did not get any flares still burning in the photo, the smoke trail left in the helicopters path tells the story. As this is just a dry run, it turned out to be a great photo. For this reason I carry a camera everywhere this journey takes me. Hope you all enjoy.
