This pencil sketch is from a photo a friend took of me a week ago. I have been away from my life drawing class for months due to illness and my fingers aren't working as well as they used to, but I decided to give it a go, since if you don't practice you can lose it. Anyway, flawed as it is, here it is...my first attempt in five months.

It is with great sadness that I inform you that this artist, Anne Kelty, passed away this past weekend after a battle with breast cancer. Her spirit and smile will live on in her art.
