The Eye

This is a very big moth, he is the size of a hand :) One morning I found him in a dangerous place (on a post near the sun!!) so moved him to a shady place for the day... His feet "hook" on to things and was a very strange feeling on my hand. I only took few photos then left him to sleep and wait for the night time....

I am glad that I looked at your work today...this one really knocks me out! What a kind deed you did by saving this beautiful little creature....not many would even think of doing what you did...How tender and true...I love Moths and their mysterious ways...some forget about their beauty because they live in the darkness and are not as bright as butterflies...but I see you have seen the worth of them...as we have done it unto the least of these so we do it to the creator...You saved this one perhaps from death...it was probably caught there and could not get loose...this is a great phto...so detailed and sharp...one of the best close ups I have ever seen. Honest...how amazing this is!!!
