Free hand Pencil Sketch on 9x12#60White drawing paper. It took about one hour to draw.
My model a very old ceramic green adult elephant, I converted my drawing to a view of its youth. LOL
bottom drawing computer inhanced.
reminds of the tiny dumbo. I really think youve done a very good job on this. The shadowing works well, youve got the shape, the only thing I can think of is maybe the trunk needs either shortened or maybe needs a bit of reshaping, and then again that just maybe my perspective- since I cannot see the original ceramic youve done this from.

It is funny you mention the trunk. Once I scanned it, on the computer, I was cleaning up a few graphite smug marks around the trunk and I must of clip the drawing. I did notice it after I posted it and wondered if any one would notice and mention it.
I really should rescan my original drawing and resubmit it again.
I do most of my sketches in a couple of hours once I get to a point where thats it. And once I put a drawing away I dont look at it again. Other wise I over do the drawing trying to make it perfect. I dont know if that makes scence?
Thanks again.
Wonderful drawing. I can't make up my mind which I like more...the softness of the above, or the bold contrast of the lower one. They are both beautiful.
