florals in pinks

This is a floral grouping I created from scratch from a sketch I did of flowers I picked from my garden. I added a vase in the background, palyed with a splatter brush to great some interest in the material draped nder the flowers. I used my wacom tablet w/tylus pen and used Painterix. Not a manipulated photo. I like the softness of the flowers and think it helps the composition's feel.

Gorgeous Composition Terry :)

Artist Reply: Thank you Loredana! Missing having a full blooming garden at the moment so, substituting by painting flowers. That year was a great flowering year for me. Have had to cut back on the gardening so not to overdue it again. Still, flowers are worth the pain most of the time.

This is so beautiful,Terry!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Joke! I love flowers and pretty settings. It's cheerful and relaxing. Good theraphy to paint flowers than to hold in negative emotion. So, I paint and thin happy thoughts. Gives me time to reflect and get over what's bothering me and appreciate all the beauty in life.
