Forbearance

FORBEARANCE Mother Big Bear and her daughter Little Bear reside as famous star formations in the firmament of our universe. Due to the principle “as without so within”, these star formations are alive within each of us. Facing and moving anticlockwise, they have become symbols of lack and catastrophe – the “bearmarket” is one such example. It is up to each of us to embrace our inner bears with total love and compassion. When we do so, the bears miraculously transform themselves into the Big and Small Wagon, also known as The Chariot, Tarot number VII. As such they are complete with Charioteer and have reversed their spin into a clockwise motion, spiraling upwards, leading us into our heavenly home of wholeness – female and male essences working together in complete harmony. My own home is lavishly populated with stuffed animals, the majority of them Teddybears. I treat them with loving respect. This collection got started when I took my first training with my Hawaiian Kahuna teacher. The sleeping facilities provided for his students are filled with Teddybears. Only years later I realized that the earthly equivalent of the Big Wagon star formation are the Hawaiian islands, remnant of ancient Lumeria (Lemuria the name of the sunken part). I pray that the Meditational Password “Forbearance” presented by this pastel painting may help reverse the anticlockwise spin of our universe, transforming our bodies into Chariots of Fire, leading us home. This Print are a limited edition of only 108, NO OPEN EDITION. 108 is the number of spiritual completion. Mantras and prayers are traditionally counted with Malas or Rosaries, consisting of 108 beads each. Since ancient liberating secrets are concealed within Pono's artwork, she wishes her prints to circulate around the globe like Rosaries of Freedom Chant mantras. This artwork is museum grade giclee on canvas, numbered and hand signed by the artist, and included is the artist's story.
