When other planes wrap around a moebius strip of dimensions untold, the anguish of exile defers to the surrealism we see reflected in every single shop window and random circumstance, on this side of The Veil.... (This is was painted from a photo taken around the first anniversary of 9/11, in Germany, where I was basking far away from the "celebration" in NYC. I couldn't bear to be in NYC then, having lived in the closest residential structure to Ground Zero, and this was a vacation, a reward, for months of toxic cleanup in my home.
