Because I lived in the closest
residential structure to the World
Trade Center on 9/11, I spent a lot of
time trying to work things out in my
head, long after the event. This series
of abstract watercolors is one of the
results.
Wonderful watercolour Michael ......I can feel the dramatic experiences , the darkness but also I can see the wonderful light that gives you encouragement and hope as well all poeple who were involved in that horrified event ! Great work !
NIce to know that such horrible times inspired such beautiful work - wonderful!
Artist Reply: Thanks, Pat. I try always to "convert" and transmute those energies into something inspirational--or at least enlightening. (That's one of the reasons this series took so long to pull together.) I'm glad it arrived for you!
