snoozey ewesy

"snoozey Ewesy " from an original watercolour. When I first painted this there wasn't a sheep in the tree, just a gap, so I painted one in, but then it looked dead, so I decided to write a poem explaining the picture, which is as follows: The safest place for a sheep to be, is fast asleep up in a tree. Away from Farmers and dogs that bite, and nasty foxes, that give ewe a fright. A sheep can sleep, and is safe to dream, of lush sweet meadows, and grass so green. So don't laugh at the sheep, high up in the tree. For he has more sense than ewe or me!
