This is a framed oil painting done from a photo. I wanted to challenge myself so I went about things in a different manner. The entire ship, rigging and all was done with painting knifes. The flags, birds, water and sky were done with brushes. This painting with its matching brown frame will add to your "nautical" decor for years to come.
