Coming Home

Abstract. This is a painting done in Oils which employs thick use of paint in an Impasto technique. The central focus of this piece is a semi-abstract interpretation of an approaching figure. A figure which since time in memorial was always celebrated when coming home. A figure returning from war, turmoil absence, trial, imprisonment, injustice service abroad or at home. This piece in brown, cream, white with an underlaying orange stands out both physically, texturelly and in its aim. It is a celebration of the return. Painted on an a box canvas, this piece is most modern and affordable as a piece of original Art. Tony Broadbent SOLD
