there are so many possible interpretations for the meaning behind this photograph...the name of the piece made me reflect on my (almost) marriage last year...the pose of the girl reminds me of my own emotional state...but i can't put my finger on what it is about her that i can relate to...anyway i like the fisheye effect..it gives the viewer a feeling of being given the opportunity to see into a world...so alluringly unique...very cool
Hello and good morning! When i first saw this it reminded me of Jan Van Eyck's "Arnolfini Wedding" portrait (1434) which to me is actually a self portrait because the painter's reflection can be seen in the mirror. I notice rays of light seeping through the drawn shades. I love this pic. rs
Stephinie, thanks for the suggestion about the light. I actually printed a picture with a bit more saturation and it is hanging at the moment as the juriors choice for the professional catagory. So your comment was right on the money. Thanks again, cile

This is so atmospheric - it really draws you in. You feel part of the scene Quite exciting - in a rather voyeuristic way.Kerry Crowel 07 Oct 2004

What wonderful colours, sorry for gushing but I really do love this. My only critique for it is that the rooms light is a bit strong.
