Ashness_Bridge_1

This is one of the most photographed and painted scenes in the lake District, the view of Derwent Water from Ashness Bridge is spectacular in all seasons. It is said that it was probanly built in the 18th century to be used by pack-horses which were the only means of transport. © Steve Newport

I bet you knew this is the most photographed spot in England; if not the whole of the UK. I've been so close to this spot many times but never actually been. Why; because so many people have shot this scene, I'd hate to get it wrong. Great shot, well done
