This 18"x24" painting is done on press board. I painted it in response to the awarness to the threat of global warming. This image shows the aftermath of herricane Katrina. An elderly couple escaping the carnage with nothing more than each other, there love for one another, and two small bags of memories.

Yes... time to get serious about this issue. I started buying flourescent light bulbs several years ago...(its the little things that count) My family thought I was being eccentric. As your painting suggests, we all need to think about what we can do to change the course.
