I know that this is probably one of the most famous images taken out of the national geographic however as you can see, as an artist it was very difficult for me to resist drawing this photo. The eyes of course, are my favorite part and I think what I enjoyed drawing the most. I hope you all enjoy looking at it as much as I have drawing. I have not yet finished it but hope to have the finished product up soon.

Really fantastic work of art :) I just recently saw a national geographic where they went back to see how this girl was doing, she is a lot older now but has many children, but her eyes are still just as beautiful :)
