This is my first drawing for ArtWanted, and I've been working on it for a while so I finally gave in and uploaded it even though it has no background. I'll upload it again once its finished. Any constructive criticism is welcome. Enjoy!

Great work! I really like the wings and shading. Your tones are very definitive. As CC? Well the only thing I can suggest on this is to try using some absolutes in the shadows. This is not something you must do its just something to try as its something i've been trying to get the hang of lately. Either way this is looking excellent.

Artist Reply: Thats a great idea. I was tempted to use the ball of magic as the source of lighting, but I got scared that it would be too much of a challenge to show the light and shadow. Ill try it when I'm less of a chicken :(
