Foot Bridge @ Second Greenwater Lake

There are 6 foot bridges total from the Greenwater Lakes trailhead to the horse camp, almost 3 miles away. I really appreciate the hard work it takes to build these things. Once we saw a crew of 12 people set up camp for 10 days to move a broken bridge on this trail and replace it.....no cranes, or heavy lifting mechanical equipment. They had pulleys and rope and lots of muscle. They did have a chainsaw or two.... Wish I had had my camera that day.. :) (I do have the before and after photos that I will post tomorrow.) The first photo is taken from the far end of the second lake. The second photo is taken from the first bridge, at the first lake, on our way back to the parking lot. Sometimes the best shots come from a bridge. Across the way and around the corner to the right is our lunch spot and the rest of the small lake. Thanks so much for stopping by!!!! :)

With all that we willfully destroy, it's encouraging to see what still remains to admire; love this Mary.
