And now for something completely different

This is a mural I painted for a lady I knew who passed only a week after I was finished with this mural in a tragic and untimely death. She wanted something bright and vibrant for the choir room where they practiced, so I just took the beautiful stain glass window and pulled from that to create a musical mural. I don't know if she even saw it finished. Different from anything else I've done, I enjoyed painting this one and playing with the colors, I felt it was a symphony I had to paint.

Very cool, so like music.

Artist Reply: Thanks Christine! I have decided to contact the church for the album I would have given the lady that hired me. I think it needs to be done. :)

I love how your painting flows with that stained glass...looking like it spills out onto the wall with your gorgeous painting!!! The colors and flow you've created are really amazing...they must smile everytime they look at it!!

Artist Reply: Thank you so much Laurie! I did try to extend the mural from the stained glass, and I do hope smiles are there especially in light of the passing of the wonderful lady that hired me to paint it! :)

This is very lovely, Joyce.. I am sure the lady saw this completed... who wouldn't, right??? Love how you blended the stained glass window..:)

Artist Reply: Thank you Bluemoonshadow, I hope so too :) It was so much fun coming off the window and I used interference paints in the mural to give that glass like effect which is hard to see on film. When you are standing there the colors change depending on the light... life is in that mural. :)
