This is a commission that I did a few years ago. There were so many angles and details in this that I really didn't think I would be able to pull it off. Heaved a major sign of relief when it was finally finished. It took weeks to complete. I'm an abstract gal at heart!

This is very poignant, Ruth. Having done several train stations myself, i agree that the details are a bit wearing, but you followed through and finished it nicely!alma groskinsky 18 Sep 2007

Whoa, Ruth, this is Awesome! I know what You mean by how difficult this would be! You conquered a mighty challenge, indeed! One of My commissions involved painting some realistic skunks on a stone once upon a time. It was a challenge that turned out as well! I know what it's like! I think I'll stick to Abstract! Excellent Work,Ruth!jamie winter 16 Sep 2007

Excellent painting, RuthDavid Holcombe 16 Sep 2007
Wonderful detail and careful technique. The composition is solid. I have a soft spot for architectural paintings. They can really have abstract details if you don't get too hung up a perfect representation. After all, it's only a point of departure for the artist's creative energies.
